To remedy this, you could get something called a snuffle mat. A snuffle mat is a mat made of soft but sturdy material. This mat has different puzzles you can hide treats inside and have your dog find. This activity will stimulate their brain, occupying them for a while. You could also get them a chew toy with different textures. You need to ensure they have something to do while you are gone or busy, or this intelligence could turn into destructive behavior!
Ideal Service Dogs
Goldendoodles make fantastic service dogs. The Poodle’s intelligence and the Golden Retriever’s desire to please make a great mix, and this mix is very easy to train. Their willingness to please will make them try to figure out how to make you happy, and their intelligence will help them find a way to do just that. They will catch on to just about anything you try to teach them, even something as complex as being the eyes for the blind.
